Eating Out

The ‘local ‘ for Akuna Lodge is the Dolphin pub which is a five minute stroll away. Serving great ales and good food , you will find a great welcome and a friendly atmosphere.

The Yacht Club in Newton Ferrers has a bar and bistro serving a good range of food. Also nearby is the Tea Rooms serving cakes and snacks . Just across the creek in Noss Mayo ( and a ten minute walk from Akuna Lodge across the causeway when the tide is out ) are two excellent pubs - The Ship Inn with its high quality menu, fine wine list and lovely position on the waterfront, and the Swan Inn, also overlooking the water and like the Dolphin with a good mix of food and ales.

There are many other village pubs and restaurants in the local area and just a little further afield lies Plymouth with its huge choice of restaurants, bistros, pubs and clubs.
